Opportunity: Senior UX Designer

dLocal is seeking an experienced, hands-on Senior UX Designer to join the Payins team. You’ll lead UX design for dLocal’s core products, focusing on transactional solutions and optimizing top merchants’ conversion rates. This role involves working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to align business goals with user needs, creating seamless experiences in payment flows.

Responsibilities:

• Own and guide the UX design process throughout the product lifecycle, aligning with dLocal’s strategic goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to design scalable, user-friendly solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate concepts.
• Design user journey maps and other artifacts to inform the user experience.
• Conduct and analyze user research to validate design decisions.
• Partner with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of UI elements.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles at every stage of product development.
• Measure the business impact of design solutions on product performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5+ years in UX design with a robust portfolio.
• Skills: Proficiency in user-centered design principles, UX research, and usability testing.
• Mindset: Analytical problem-solver, able to interpret data and user insights.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, adept at collaboration across functions.
• Work Style: Autonomous, organized, capable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Bonus Skills: Experience leading teams, influencing without authority, familiarity with payments industry and emerging markets, and conversion funnel optimization.
