Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Copywriter to join our marketing team. This role demands versatility in crafting sales copy, email marketing content, ad copy, articles, press releases, and social media posts. Our ideal candidate has a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of brand voice, and the ability to engage diverse audiences with persuasive, compelling writing.

Responsibilities

• Sales Copywriting: Create persuasive copy for websites, landing pages, and product descriptions, focusing on driving conversions and enhancing customer engagement.
• Email Marketing: Develop effective email campaigns with A/B testing to optimize reach and impact, resonating with target audiences.
• Ad Copy: Craft compelling ad copy for both digital and print media, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and brand messaging.
• Content Creation: Produce high-quality articles and blog posts, adhering to SEO best practices to educate and engage readers.
• Press Releases: Draft impactful press releases to communicate brand news and updates effectively to media outlets and stakeholders.
• Social Media Content: Develop social media posts and campaigns to strengthen brand presence, foster community engagement, and drive platform traffic.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders for cohesive messaging across channels.
• Research: Stay informed on industry trends, target audiences, and competitors, using insights to inform content strategy and style.
• Editing & Proofreading: Ensure clarity, grammar, style, and brand alignment in all content before publication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of copywriting experience with a diverse portfolio showcasing various formats
• Proven track record in writing sales copy that drives leads and conversions
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and online content best practices
• Analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven content decisions
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Equity-Based Compensation Model
As a SOULCHI team member, you will participate in our equity-based compensation model through the Slicing Pie method, designed for equitable, dynamic equity distribution based on hours worked and fair market rate. Initially, this position is fully equity-based. Once SOULCHI reaches break-even, equity freezes and compensation shifts to salary + benefits, with annual profit-sharing based on your equity percentage. This role offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully and own a part of SOULCHI’s future.

Work Schedule
We value work-life balance and provide flexible scheduling. Depending on your availability and role alignment, you may work between 15 and 40 hours per week.
