Role Overview

Are you a skilled UI/UX Designer ready to make a global impact? OffSec seeks an experienced designer to create user-focused solutions, refine existing interfaces, and mentor junior designers. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll design intuitive experiences that align with our mission of educating and securing the world in cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Experience Vision: Define and implement the vision for the OffSec Learning Platform, ensuring seamless, engaging user journeys.
• Platform Standards: Establish cohesive principles, standards, and experience guardrails for a unified user experience.
• UX Expertise: Serve as the go-to advisor on UX principles, best practices, and standards across the organization.
• Design & Innovation:
  • Develop new user-centric designs for the learning platform and public-facing website.
  • Create prototypes for quick feedback and iterative development.
  • Enhance and optimize existing interfaces based on user needs.
• Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to align designs with business objectives and learner success.
• User Research: Conduct and lead user-centered testing sessions to validate and refine designs.
• Design System Ownership: Maintain a cohesive, current design system aligned with platform standards.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • 3-5 years as a Lead UI/UX Designer or in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in video processing.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Figma and Adobe products (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat).
  • Solid understanding of usability factors in Human-Computer Interaction.
• Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise through a UI design portfolio.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker, and problem solver.
