We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to join our creative and motivated team working on the renowned Total War franchise. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase and expand your design skills by working on one of the most interface-rich games in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
As a UI/UX Designer, you will collaborate with our team to develop concepts, layouts, designs, and assets for both new and existing UI features. Working closely with game designers, you will help create intuitive and engaging user flows to enhance the player experience.
Your day-to-day tasks include:
- Collaborating with team members across various disciplines (design, art, programming, etc.).
- Designing functions, appearance, and usability of the interface in collaboration with game design, user research, and programming teams.
- Delivering high-quality assets.
- Helping to maintain style guides, documentation, and design systems.
- Staying updated on and sharing the latest UI trends with the team.
- Proposing workflow improvements to boost productivity.
- Working with outsource partners when required.
- Mentoring and providing feedback to junior team members.
- Taking ownership of specific development areas.
Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX designer on UI-heavy software products.
- Expertise in UI/UX design, including wireframing, interaction design, prototyping, and information hierarchy.
- Strong visual design skills, including composition, typography, iconography, and color theory.
- Proficiency in tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Technical knowledge with a drive to learn in-house tools.
- High attention to detail and a passion for creating quality products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Team player who values feedback and collaboration.
Desirable:
- Passionate gamer with an analytical interest in how and why things work.
- Experience with game production pipelines and tools, ideally with 1 shipped title.
- Knowledge of motion design.
- Familiarity with user research methods.
- Traditional art skills.
- Interest in or experience with the Total War franchise or other strategy games.
