Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Designer passionate about creating impactful digital experiences. As a Product Designer, you’ll work closely with our Design Lead and product managers, driving user-centered design solutions that align with business goals. You'll have the opportunity to design for both web and mobile applications, actively contribute to our design system, and help shape a customer-focused design culture at Faria.

Who You Are

• User-Focused Designer: You create user-centered designs that are intuitive and solve real-world problems with great aesthetics.
• Systems Thinker: You see the big picture, developing scalable design systems.
• Collaborative Communicator: You effectively communicate design ideas, translating them into actionable concepts for stakeholders across product, engineering, and business teams.
• Experienced Designer: You bring at least 5 years of UX design experience, ideally within a tech company, with a robust portfolio of real-world products.
• Growth-Oriented: You are eager to take on increasing responsibilities and deliver impactful outcomes for users and the business.

What You’ll Do

• Design intuitive UX/UI for web and mobile applications, using Figma and FigJam.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define goals, align on user needs, and deliver effective design solutions.
• Conduct user research and testing, iterating on designs based on insights.
• Make strategic design recommendations to support product planning.
• Present and refine designs based on feedback, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Work closely with engineers to refine scope, providing clear implementation documentation.
• Contribute to the growth of our design team and the establishment of a design culture.
• Support and expand design systems, including the development of new product libraries.

Your Qualifications

• Proven experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile applications.
• Expert in Figma for design and prototyping, and FigJam for collaborative planning.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying design decisions and collaborating effectively.
• Hands-on experience working alongside engineers to refine design scope and ensure efficient implementation.
• Ability to advocate a customer-first approach, iterate on design based on data and feedback, and influence design direction.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in EdTech SaaS products.
• Skills in HTML/CSS/Bootstrap for mockup creation.
• Familiarity with Storybook.
