About the Position

As a UI/UX Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating user-centered designs that enhance the usability and accessibility of DoD AI systems. You'll work closely with stakeholders to transform requirements into intuitive designs, workflows, and prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct usability testing, user interviews, and contextual inquiries to gather insights.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and flow diagrams for applications.
• Collaborate with developers and mission teams to ensure designs align with user needs.
• Analyze and monitor user metrics using tools like Matomo, Qlik, or Tableau.
• Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive interfaces.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with 7–10 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
• Expertise in usability testing, wireframe creation, and user research methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with prior experience in DoD or government environments.

Clearance Requirement

• DoD Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
