Role: Associate UI/UX Designer

As an Associate UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of mobile app features, ensuring usability, aesthetics, and functionality. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric solutions while adhering to design systems, usability standards, and emerging trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Execution:
  • Support the design of multiple app features and functions.
  • Lead design efforts for specific features with minimal guidance.
• UX/UI Standards:
  • Ensure deliverables align with usability standards and current design trends.
  • Update and improve design systems as needed.
• Cross-Team Collaboration:
  • Communicate UX/UI strategies to stakeholders, from developers to leadership.
  • Work with product and leadership teams to ensure accurate product representation.
• Design Assets:
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups.
  • Support usability testing, analyze feedback, and propose future iterations.
• Agile Processes:
  • Serve as the voice of the consumer in the agile development process.
  • Collaborate daily with engineers and developers to make strategic product decisions.

Requirements

• UX/UI Expertise:
  • Advanced knowledge of UX concepts and mobile app design.
  • Proficiency in UI mockups, UX user flows, and tools like Figma.
  • Experience building functional prototypes and adhering to design systems.
• Mobile App Knowledge:
  • Solid understanding of cross-platform apps (iOS & Android).
  • Familiarity with design trends and methodologies.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Strong ability to articulate design visions to various audiences.
  • Skilled at receiving and implementing feedback.
• Agile Development:
  • Basic understanding of agile development and testing processes.
• Usability Testing:
  • Capable of organizing and analyzing usability testing sessions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hunter Douglas products is a bonus.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
