Location: Hybrid opportunity based out of our Tempe, AZ office.
What You'll Do Every Day:
- Manage UX Projects: Oversee multiple user experience projects and initiatives for various teams, including Product Management and Service Delivery.
- Product Scope: Work on diverse products, including payments, mapping, automated messaging, preference management, and mobile applications.
- Research and Data-Driven Design: Utilize research and data to craft optimal user experiences.
- Interface Development: Update or create interfaces to meet client requirements and design visually appealing mobile app interfaces.
- Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Development, and Service Delivery teams to create effective design solutions.
- Client Interaction: Work directly with clients, providing consulting for products and initiatives.
- Travel: Occasionally travel throughout North America for design sessions and technical presentations.
What Kind of Person Should You Be?
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency with Tools: Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Lucidchart, and InVision (preference for Figma).
- Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work effectively amidst ambiguity.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work independently and collaborate with coworkers and clients.
- Accessibility Knowledge: Understanding of design requirements related to ADA, Section 508, and WCAG.
- Tech Savvy: A solid understanding of the technology industry and a passion for staying updated on design trends.
What Skills Do You Need?
- Experience: 2-3 years of UX design experience with a focus on user-centered design and usability.
- Collaboration: Proven track record of working with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful designs.
- Portfolio: Experience designing websites, interfaces, or software solutions with a strong emphasis on visual aesthetics.
