About the Role

Compose.ly is seeking a talented and creative SEO Content Writer to craft high-quality, engaging content that supports our mission to make data compliance easy, affordable, and user-friendly. From blogs and white papers to social media posts and video scripts, your work will drive SEO success, expand our content library, and promote innovation across multiple channels.

Objective

As an SEO Content Writer, you will simplify complex topics, create SEO-optimized materials, and tailor content to resonate with diverse audiences. Your proactive approach will enable you to suggest innovative content ideas, contribute to strategic initiatives, and grow alongside our client.

Commitment and Duration

• Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Contract: 12 months with potential for extension or permanent employment
• Location: U.S.-based

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation:

• Write SEO-optimized blogs, articles, and website copy targeting specific user intent.
• Simplify complex topics into clear, concise, and engaging content.
• Create high-quality marketing materials, including emails, social media posts, newsletters, and outreach briefs.
• Develop in-depth pieces such as white papers, case studies, and data-driven storytelling articles.

Collaboration and Strategy:

• Work with marketing and design teams to develop and enhance content visuals.
• Identify content gaps, recommend topics, and refresh existing materials.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to suggest creative solutions and repurposing opportunities.

Project Management:

• Manage projects from ideation to launch, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Conduct research and interviews to produce accurate, well-informed content.

SEO and Optimization:

• Implement keyword-driven content strategies and stay updated on SEO best practices.
• Use tools, including AI, to optimize content and improve efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter with a portfolio of published articles.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills in fluent English.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and hands-on experience with keyword-driven content strategies.
• Proficiency with WordPress and other CMS tools.
• Ability to write 30,000+ words monthly, plus ad hoc content.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with legal or data privacy industries is a plus but not mandatory.
