Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and innovative WordPress Developer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our dynamic team. This position requires 70% focus on WordPress development and 30% on AEM functionalities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress sites while effectively integrating AEM to enhance digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

WordPress Development (70%)

• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize WordPress websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related issues.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security standards.
• Implement custom post types and taxonomies as needed.
• Conduct website migrations while ensuring data integrity.

AEM Development (30%)

• Assist in the integration of AEM components and templates into WordPress sites.
• Collaborate with the AEM team to ensure seamless content management and delivery.
• Develop and support AEM workflows, templates, and components.
• Manage digital assets using AEM’s asset management tools.
• Participate in AEM project planning and strategy sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in WordPress development, showcasing advanced skills in theme and plugin development.
• 2+ years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
• Familiarity with AEM architecture and functionalities, including Sling, OSGi, and JCR.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and performance optimization.
• Ability to conduct website migrations while maintaining data integrity.
