Position: Senior Project Manager
Location: Department of Defense (DoD), Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO)
Security Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret (must obtain TS/SCI with scope).
Join us in supporting the DoD’s mission to accelerate adoption of data, analytics, and AI. This role focuses on ensuring AI/ML solutions prioritize user experience to maximize usability, adoption, and mission impact.
You will work with the Search Portfolio, maintaining applications like GAMECHANGER, Contract Search, and JBook Search on the Advana platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead agile development processes, emphasizing iterative design and solutions.
- Translate user research into actionable workflows and interface requirements.
- Create high-quality designs: wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and flow diagrams.
- Rapidly iterate on designs and test AI/ML tools for usability and effectiveness.
- Analyze and visualize user activity using tools like Qlik or Tableau.
- Conduct user research (interviews, usability tests, surveys) to refine designs.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to define product goals and end-user needs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance mission workflows with AI solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI eligibility required).
- Bachelor’s degree + 7–10 years of experience OR Master’s degree + 5 years of experience.
- Expertise in usability testing: test plans, wireframes, facilitation, and results analysis.
- Proficiency in creating wireframes, prototypes, and task flow diagrams.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with end-users and stakeholders.
- Prior experience conducting user interviews and contextual inquiries.
- Familiarity with user tracking tools like Matomo and data visualization platforms.
Preferred:
- Certification in Usability/UX (e.g., Certified Usability Analyst - CUA).
