Overview:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Concept and Research Facilitation:
  • Lead concept sessions and workshops using ethnographic research and design thinking methodologies.
• Design Creation and Management:
  • Deliver and manage user journeys, personas, storyboards, system maps, UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems using tools such as Figma, Jira Whiteboard, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Develop visually appealing design exemplars and maintain brand consistency.
• User-Centered Iteration:
  • Use prototypes to gather insights from quantitative and qualitative usability testing, refining designs based on user feedback.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Leads, Engineers, and Designers, to align business goals with intuitive design solutions.
  • Articulate design decisions and tradeoffs effectively to teams and leadership through verbal and visual presentations.
• Brand and Product Vision:
  • Partner with marketing to evolve brand guidelines and ensure their consistency across products.
  • Drive product vision and strategic alignment with design decisions.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and principles is a plus.

Education and Experience

• Professional Experience:
  • 3+ years of UI/UX design experience delivering digital products for web and mobile platforms.
  • Proven ability to create and manage concepts, personas, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and development-ready design assets.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Miro (or equivalent prototyping tools).
  • Experience with planning design sprints and workstreams.
• Portfolio:
  • Strongly recommended to showcase relevant projects that highlight your skills and design approach.
