About the Role: Senior Copywriter
The Senior Copywriter plays a pivotal role in creating compelling, audience-relevant content that drives strategic communication objectives for multichannel-marketing campaigns. This individual will serve as a writing lead across multiple brands, delivering impactful messaging that aligns with our clients' goals.
The ideal candidate has pharma advertising agency experience, excels in collaboration, and is adept at navigating medical-regulatory-legal reviews.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Execution
- Develop strong, engaging marketing copy aligned with strategic objectives.
- Contribute to creative campaign concepts and multichannel treatment development.
- Maintain content consistency, adhering to brand styles in both copy and design.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Designers, Creative Directors, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams.
- Present creative deliverables in internal and client meetings, participating in critiques and feedback sessions.
Content Management
- Act as the content guardian, tracking and documenting copy changes throughout the creative process.
- Proofread and edit copy for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with references.
Process Adherence
- Follow established creative processes, while contributing to the evolution of copywriting best practices.
- Keep projects on track and meet deadlines through proactive communication.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of marketing copywriting experience, preferably in pharma advertising or rare disease.
- Demonstrated expertise in a regulated industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital and campaign work.
Skills and Competencies
- High proficiency in English-language style and mechanics.
- Experience collaborating with designers and developers for interactive, responsive designs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate obstacles and provide solutions.
