The Opportunity: Product Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Design Vision: Set the strategic direction for the SuperApp’s design, ensuring a cohesive look, feel, and functionality.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Product Design Managers in different domains to maintain a unified user experience.
• User Research: Conduct usability testing and A/B testing to guide design decisions and measure success.
• Create Empathetic Experiences: Collaborate with UX researchers and writers to develop a holistic user journey.
• Adopt and Drive Design Systems: Implement and advocate for the SEFAR design system across teams.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor designers, fostering a culture of excellence and growth within the team.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present design solutions and advocate for user needs to cross-functional teams.

Who You Are:

• Experience: 7+ years as a Product Designer, with 2+ years leading a design team.
• Expertise: Deep understanding of design thinking and user-centered design principles.
• Mobile App Design: Strong experience in mobile app design and cross-platform user experiences.
• Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
• Passion: Enthusiastic about the SuperApp concept and its potential to improve lives.

Bonus Points:

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Familiarity with the MENA region and its markets.
• A portfolio showcasing impactful user-centric design solutions.
