Role Overview

We’re searching for a Managing Editor with exceptional editorial skills and strategic thinking. In this role, you’ll refine, optimize, and curate content that aligns with client goals and resonates with their audiences. You’ll manage writers, ensure content meets brand standards, and contribute to strategic outcomes through your editing, writing, and organizational prowess.

This is a dynamic opportunity for an editor passionate about creating polished, high-quality, impactful content.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Editing & Writing:
  • Edit content to a professional standard, ensuring alignment with client goals, brand voice, and SEO best practices.
  • Write and refine engaging content such as blog posts, landing pages, and on-site copy.
• Collaboration & Strategy:
  • Work with content leads, SEO strategists, and media teams to meet strategic objectives.
  • Manage relationships with writers, providing constructive feedback to elevate their work.
• Content Management & Research:
  • Update and organize existing content to reflect current trends and brand guidelines.
  • Assist with topic research to ensure content accuracy, authority, and relevance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to edit and improve content, focusing on tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
• Portfolio or samples demonstrating your best work in engaging, informative, and persuasive content.
• 5+ years of experience in content editing or writing, with the ability to manage workloads independently.
• Experience guiding writers to produce exceptional content and managing multiple relationships.
• Strong understanding of SEO content strategies and optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in tools like Asana, ClickUp, or similar project management platforms.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $70,000+
• Unlimited PTO
