About the Role:
Oliant is looking for a skilled Web Designer to enhance our digital presence. This position is flexible, requiring a commitment of 80-100 hours per month, focusing on optimizing and expanding Oliant's main website in the US. There is also potential for ongoing projects with our websites in other regions. Your primary task will be to make design updates, add new sections, and optimize performance while ensuring an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Redesign:
  Create a fresh, modern design aligned with our branding, using clean and simple design principles.
• Landing Page Creation:
  Build high-converting landing pages integrated with our marketing platforms.
• SEO Optimization:
  Continuously improve SEO across all pages, working to boost search visibility and organic traffic.
• New Sections Development:
  Add new pages and sections such as resources and tools, ensuring easy navigation and relevance to user needs.
• Collaboration with Content Team:
  Work closely with our marketing and content teams, providing design solutions that allow for independent content updates.
• Mobile Usability & UX Improvements:
  Evaluate and enhance the mobile experience, prioritizing usability, load speed, and intuitive navigation.
• Performance Optimization:
  Follow performance guidelines based on our team’s device-specific analyses to maximize load speed and responsiveness.
• Development Team Collaboration:
  Work with the dev team to integrate content connected to backend data and programming needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Platform Proficiency:
   • Webflow (Primary)
   • Headless CMS (any)
   • WordPress
2. Agile Workflow Experience:
   Familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative work processes, allowing for rapid implementation and feedback.
3. Mockup Skills:
   Ability to create mockups in FIGMA or similar tools for design discussions and approvals.
4. Bilingual Communication:
   English skills are ideal, as some team members are English-only speakers. The team primarily communicates in Spanish.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge in load speed optimization, aspect ratios, and advanced SEO principles.

Workflow:

1. The CEO, Business Development Manager, or Digital Marketing department provides initial design and functionality guidelines.
2. You create and present one or two mockups for approval.
3. Once approved, you implement the design changes in the live environment.
