The Role: UX Researcher (Mixed Methods)
We’re seeking a UX Researcher with a strong command of both qualitative and quantitative research methods to join our growing design team in Athens, Greece. Reporting to the Head of Design, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing user-centered financial products that align with user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify Key Challenges: Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to uncover user pain points and unmet needs.
- Frame Research Questions: Define research questions that guide the team toward meaningful insights.
- Explore User Problems: Formulate hypotheses and gather data using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Make Insights Tangible: Use prototypes, journey maps, and personas to test hypotheses and validate solutions.
- Iterate and Learn: Apply feedback to refine research insights continuously.
- Craft Insightful Narratives: Communicate research findings through compelling stories, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in UX research with a portfolio of case studies
- Proficiency with design methods and experience translating insights into designs
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research techniques, such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and A/B testing
- Strong analytical and communication skills for conveying design decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fintech or financial services is a plus
- Degree in Psychology, HCI, Cognitive Science, or related field is preferred
