Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that meet client needs and deliver an exceptional user experience. This position involves working on both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring responsive designs, performance optimization, and seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Website Development

• Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize and implement WordPress themes to meet specific design requirements.
• Ensure responsiveness and performance optimization across devices and browsers.

Front-End Development

• Build visually appealing, user-friendly pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate graphics, animations, and multimedia elements.
• Maintain consistent and attractive user interfaces.

Back-End Development

• Configure WordPress installations, databases, and server environments.
• Write and customize functionality using PHP.
• Debug and resolve WordPress or server configuration issues.

Content Management

• Organize and manage content such as text, images, and videos.
• Ensure content is accessible and engaging.

Security and Performance Optimization

• Apply security best practices to protect websites from potential threats.
• Optimize website speed and performance.

SEO and Analytics

• Implement SEO strategies to enhance search engine rankings.
• Configure analytics tools to monitor performance and user behavior.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with designers, content creators, and team members to achieve project goals.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements and provide updates.

Documentation

• Maintain detailed records of configurations, custom code, and project specifics.

Plugin Development and Integration

• Create custom plugins or modify existing ones to extend functionality.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.

Stay Updated

• Keep up with industry trends, WordPress updates, and emerging technologies to improve skills and processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with web design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design.
• Knowledge of security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Understanding of SEO principles and analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• A portfolio showcasing previous WordPress projects (preferred).
