Senior Product Marketer at Freetrade

In the UK, we now have over 1.5 million registered users, and we offer a range of products such as the Freetrade Pension, stocks and shares ISA, and UK Treasury bills.As a Senior Product Growth Marketer, you will take ownership of key customer journeys and products, working to enhance engagement, improve user flows, and deliver seamless experiences across the customer lifecycle.

You will lead initiatives to refine how users interact with Freetrade, from onboarding through to retention, ensuring that every touchpoint adds value and supports business growth. This hands-on role will see you crafting engaging email marketing campaigns, amplifying our brand across social channels, and using data-driven insights to optimise and personalise the customer journey.

You will...

  • Develop and execute strategies to deepen customer engagement, focusing on retention, subscription uptake and lifecycle satisfaction.
  • Design tailored campaigns for segmented audiences to drive behaviour aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with product teams to support launches, updates, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Create and deliver dynamic, personalised email campaigns that guide users through their journey with Freetrade.
  • Focus on delivering impactful messaging that drives engagement, conversion, and loyalty.
  • Monitor and optimise email performance metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and completion of desired actions.
  • Map out key customer touchpoints from onboarding through long-term engagement, ensuring frictionless and intuitive experiences.
  • Identify and address pain points in the customer journey to improve satisfaction, retention, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to embed optimised user flows across all aspects of development.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyse data to refine onboarding, activation, and upsell processes.
  • Leverage customer insights and feedback to continuously improve and personalise user experiences.
  • Develop innovative social media strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement, ensuring alignment with Freetrade’s tone and values.
  • Collaborate with design and content teams to produce compelling assets that resonate with audiences and reinforce key journeys.
  • Analyse social trends and campaign performance to optimise impact and engagement.

You have...

  • 4-6 years experience in engagement, growth, or product marketing
  • Proven expertise in user journey optimisation, ideally within a fintech or customer-first digital product environment.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience principles and behaviour-driven design.
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Google Analytics for journey mapping and optimisation.
  • Proven expertise in email marketing and CRM tools such as Airship, Braze, or Mailchimp, with a focus on behavioural and triggered campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with A/B testing and personalisation techniques to improve customer outcomes.
  • Experience in delivering organic social media and brand-building campaigns.
  • Passionate about improving customer experiences and driving meaningful user engagement.
  • Analytical thinker with a creative approach, blending data-driven decision-making with innovative strategies.
  • Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering.
  • Proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.
